Harmonic Oscillator

The VR application "Harmonic Oscillator" offers an interactive exploration of harmonic motion in a virtual reality environment. Users can adjust the amplitude, mass, and spring stiffness to observe their direct impact on the oscillation period. Changing the amplitude affects the maximum displacement from the equilibrium point, while increasing the mass lengthens the period of motion. Adjusting the spring stiffness alters the restoring force,  with higher stiffness resulting in a shorter period. The app provides intuitive controls for modifying these parameters in real-time, allowing users to instantly visualize the effects of each adjustment.  Application visualise also energy transformation of the mechanical system. The immersive VR setting enables observation from various perspectives, enhancing understanding of harmonic motion dynamics. This tool is ideal for both educational purposes and hands-on experimentation with fundamental physics principles.

This game is a part of the project "AR-Lab", aiming to use VR solutions in mechanical engineering education.
